Data Stewards

Data stewards have both authority over and accountability for a particular set of business processes and, therefore, the fidelity and use of the data that is generated by these processes. They are authoritative regarding the meaning and classification of the data under their purview and they oversee associated reports generated from their data and assist university decision-makers extract additional value from the information.
